SoulSpace Child Safety Standards

A clear statement is made by SoulSpace here: no form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is tolerated. This document is organised in the order of "declaration — measures — reporting": our position is made public first, the methods by which danger is kept outside are then set out one by one, and finally you are told how to place any clue you discover into our hands. Whether you are a user, a parent, a guardian or a regulator, the complete arrangement we maintain on this subject can be understood from the pages that follow.

I. Declaration one: a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation

A zero-tolerance policy is applied by SoulSpace to all content and conduct involving child sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse, or harm to minors in any manner. Applicable laws and regulations, together with every Google Play requirement concerning child safety protection, are strictly observed by us, and the application of this standard is not lowered by the presentation format, language or reach of any content.

We further declare that the Application has never been designed for minors as its target users, and that it will not serve as a channel through which any person may approach minors.

II. Declaration two: adults only, and no registration by minors

SoulSpace is a social matching service platform intended for adults, and only users aged 18 or above are permitted to register and use it. Access by any minor, the creation of an account by any minor, and any use of the social, chat, matching and interactive functions offered by the Application are expressly prohibited by us; adult users are likewise forbidden to assist or induce a minor in circumventing the age limit.

Should you encounter an account suspected of belonging to a minor, please report it through the channels listed in sections VII and VIII of this document, and it will be addressed immediately once verified.

III. Measure one: age verification and admission controls

The age threshold is treated as the first gate of admission, and the following measures are maintained by us to keep it effective:

• A date of birth must be entered during registration, and any application falling short of the age requirement cannot proceed;
• Accounts whose age information plainly conflicts with their behaviour are routed into a manual review process;
• Accounts possibly operated by a minor, or used to lure minors, are identified from user reports, chat content and interaction patterns;
• Accounts confirmed to be in breach have access restricted and are closed, and re-registration with the same details is refused.

IV. Measure two: conduct that is expressly prohibited

The conduct below is strictly prohibited, and no exemption is granted merely because it occurs in a private chat, a group or any other non-public setting:

• Producing, uploading, disseminating or storing any content involving child sexual exploitation or child sexual abuse;
• Requesting from a minor contact details, a home address, a school name or any other information that could locate an individual;
• Publishing, forwarding or commenting on any description of child abuse, neglect or abandonment;
• Exchanging goods, gifts, money or false promises for images, private materials or offline meetings involving a minor;
• Inducing or assisting a minor to leave the supervision of a guardian, or facilitating a minor's running away from home or truancy;
• Subjecting a minor to sexual inducement, sexual harassment, threats, coercion or other harmful conduct.

Where any conduct in breach of this section is confirmed, measures are taken by the platform immediately, including deletion of the relevant content, closure of the relevant account and a report to law enforcement authorities.

V. Measure three: content moderation and risk detection

Platform content and user conduct are continuously managed by us through a combination of technical means and manual review:

• Images, text and profile material uploaded by users are screened by machine recognition for content suspected of being non-compliant;
• Report tickets concerning children are accepted and given priority handling;
• Abnormal account behaviour is monitored, such as adding large numbers of strangers within a short period or repeatedly requesting personal information;
• Content suspected of risk is restricted from display first and then moved into the review and handling process.

VI. Measure four: protection of minors' information

Because use of the Application by minors is prohibited, personal information of children is not actively gathered by us. Where information relating to a minor is obtained because of an incorrect entry, fraudulent registration or another unforeseen cause, the relevant information is deleted by us immediately once confirmed, the related account is restricted from further use of the Application, and comparable risks are reviewed so that recurrence is prevented. Such handling equally follows the SoulSpace Privacy Policy .

VII. Reporting channel one: in-app reporting

Where, during use, you come across an account suspected of belonging to a minor, content involving harm to children, or harassment or inducement directed at minors, a report may be submitted through the in-app reporting function: tap "Report" on the other party's profile page or in the chat window, select the "Involving minors / child safety" category, and add screenshots or a written description as prompted. Reports concerning child safety are dispatched for priority handling, and anonymous submission is also available to you.

VIII. Reporting channel two: reporting by support email

If in-app reporting is inconvenient, or if you are submitting a clue as a guardian or a regulator, please write to service@soulspace-chat.com, stating as far as possible the account involved, the time of occurrence, the form of the content and any relevant screenshots. Every report is reviewed promptly upon receipt by us and necessary measures are taken according to the circumstances; where a clue involves an imminent risk to personal safety in the physical world, please also contact the local police or a child protection agency.

IX. Penalties for non-compliance

For accounts in breach of these Standards, the following measures are taken by us according to the seriousness of the circumstances:

• Deletion of the non-compliant content, together with a restriction on re-uploading such content;
• Restriction of account functions or suspension of account access;
• Permanent banning of the account and termination of its service eligibility;
• Preservation of necessary violation records and supporting evidence for later verification;
• Provision of necessary information to law enforcement authorities, and cooperation with their investigations, in respect of conduct suspected of a criminal offence.

X. Continuous improvement and how to reach us

Changes in laws and regulations, updates to Google Play platform policies and the evolution of industry safety standards are monitored by us on an ongoing basis, and age verification, content moderation and report handling mechanisms are optimised accordingly.
